temp guage sits in middle all the time but every so ofton drops to 0 then slowly goes back up , i pre sume its a faulty guage how easy /expensive to repair and is it harmfull or doing any damage:beerchug:

It won't be the gauge, it will be the sender.
GSF do them, get the right colour and a new o-ring.
Oh and a bit of g12 to top-up with.

its the sender, very easy to change, a 12 year old could do it,

my mechanical no how is of about a 8 year old , how easy r we talking ?

the plug sender is located under the plastick engine cover, towards the rear of the engine bay, look for a blue plug with a plastic U shaped clip holding it in,

magic! mine's just started to do the same today, needle sits midway then drops to zero 5 mins later.
