Hi,
Im very very interested in a remap for my 2.0TDI, do you have any rolling road print outs for this car to show before and after to compare the power delivery etc,
also how much black smoking will there be? (friends have had remaps where its just the fueling is upped and therefore on full throttle it overfuels no end)
cheers
Karl.

Hi karl
Thanks for the intrest.
We have been tuning the 140hp car's for a few years now from A3's to Passats wil with good gains. We dont have use of the rollers each time we do a car. If we did the price would be more than the £250. We use them for al our R&D so we know what works and how well...
All the maps we do only work on 50% load and power so you will only see and fee it working when you need it... (best way)
There are a lot of cheap load maps out there were they just put 10% on top, This means the car will smoke more as it asking for 10% boost air fuel etc all the time on tick over when your parking the car etc..
The map you wil get is for your car and your car only. We take a read of the data section of the ECU so keeping all your car's ID and have it changed to we know what works is safe etc...Our tuners are the best out there all UK based and have been tuning for some big names out there..
We supply a number of VAG dealers over our way and there very happy. So sure you will be if your not have your money back
Hope that helps a little
Thanks Mike

hi,
cheers for the reply.
when you say 50% load and power what exactly do you mean? bellow a set revs or throttle im on the original map? also how does this affect low down grunt as one of the things im missing compared to my old 115bhp mk4 golf is the way the mk4 would pick up from idle well and by 1200rpm be in full swing which made over taking easier from crusing and also made pulling away from junctions easier as I didnt need to thrash it.
do you have any print out from your R&D work so I can see how yours compares to super chips work?
cheers
Karl.

You have in the ECU lots of Load maps some will not be change (under 50% load and 50% throttel) all the other's will be running motech code if you like..With the PD115 Golfs they have a very small turbo witch helps them spin up very nice and quick and gives them a nice punch too it.. All our maps will help with the pull out junctions. They make day to day driving much more easier..
As for the print outs not sure if we have any scanned on the system.. Will take a look.. Not going to bad mounth any one's work but we have done a few superchips car's with better results......:biglaugh:
Hope this helps

Yes ha ha I do some maps for them that they cant lol...
Its all down to the driver really. We did a Q7 a few years back. They guy was seeing 420miles to a tank now he is saying he gets 450... Thats just him but its all down to how you drive it really...
Shame I cant do a eco map for the HSV lol...

Sounds good Mike, I will pop in soon for a chat.
Believe it or not I can get nearly 30mpg on a run from the HSV ( 6th @ 2k ;) )
But around town it can easily drop to single figures.

Thanks for answering my questions Mike, much appreciated :biglaugh:. one last thing, I assume that if driven normally ie not flat out I should see the same mpg figues or slightly better. I spend alot of time crusing on motorways at 70 or so, but the extra punch would be nice for over taking etc.
Ill have a word with my folks as I owe them some dosh and provided I have enough left over Ill book mine in as your not too far away.
many thanks
Karl.

54k the clutch will be fine..
Iam sure you dont race of the ligths every day.. they very strong in them.. If it ever go's change it back with an Audi one..
I do a lot of dealer cars and they cant have a clutch going around the 60-70l mark...
Also the ECO maps are not all about power etc....
Mike
The stock diesel clutches are good for 200k if driven niecly...so dont worry unless you are doing racing starts.
my 2.0tdi was done last week and my god its brill!!! the best £250 ive ever spent!! :D

Hi Mike,
I'm another 204bhp 3.0 TDI owner who's insterested.
I have a tiptronic auto.. am I right in saying that the auto box can actually handle more power than a manual 3.0 TDI with a clutch? (is that possibly because the torque convertor limits power throughput?)
In short; will there be any issues with the auto box being able to handle 250bhp?
My intended use for the upgrade is to drive around sensibly as normal 99% of the time and to enjoy the extra power when I need to blip past someone!
Lastly, when does your offer close please?
Al.

Your spot on.. As the re-map is a load baced map it only works when you need it too.. So for that fast over take etc etc.. there is no point having it on all the time as its just using extra fuel...
Auto box is perfect in them. The offer is on till the end of the year , But might carry it on till feb when are you looking to get it done ??
Thanks Mike

Hmm hopefully a few days before Christmas, funds permitting! When do you close for Chrimbo?
It's a fantastic price, especially considering the normal RRP.
Does anything else need to be upgraded to handle the new power, intercoolers etc? (apart from bigger brakes if you drive like a loon!) ?
Thanks
Alex.

Mike,
I have a 2006 A4 Avant Quattro 2.0 FSI Turbo Special Edition (220 bhp) but the car feels breathless compared to my old Merc.
What can be done here to make the car feel alot more punchy?
BTW - car has 22k miles on it and has a Milltek exhaust system fitted from new

Hi mate
The last of the B7 with 222hp are really nice .. They tune up to 250ish.. Ok the gain is not as big as some car's but the pick and responce will make you think it should have been like this from Audi ... :biglaugh:

Hi Karl,
Now you've had a chance to fully appreciate the car since the upgrade what are the stats looking like? Any downsides? my 140TDi is great to drive but just lacks that edge that the 170TDi had for overtaking etc...
Mike,
Do you actually have any rough figures for the HP & Torque for your maps in this motor? I've been looking at an alternative option in the Southwest and came across your details today.
