Wrong section I know. Easiest way to get an answer from the guys in the know! :)

I have 18" RS TT alloys with Goodyear Eagle F1's on my S3. I'm running them at 32F 32R just now but I've heard people run the tyres on low profs at a lot high pressure.

Just wondering if anyone can recommend something safe and better? I know the 32F 32R are for standard wheels that come with the S3, so I'm unsure what to run the S3 on now.

Cheers folks,

Your Donkey Dunce buddy,

Odie. :beerchug:

Some people have been recommending 38R 34F and say it makes a different... What do you guys think?

Fellow donkey,

This (http://www.thetyrepressuremonitor.com/tyrepressures_audi.html) may help. You're okay at 32 psi all round by the looks of it. But you could increase to 38 psi all round if your car is regularly loaded or if you go really fast regularly in it. <:D>

That's looking at the TT section BTW. I assume as you have TT wheels then you want the TT pressures.

Oh great and wise Donkey!

Thank you very much for that bountiful reading pleasure aimed at pressurised air inside a rubber tube! It has been bookmarked in my world wide web explorer software for future viewing pleasure!

On a serious note... lol. Cheers mate! :) I've bookmarked that and will look it up for future reference! :)

Should be ok with 32 PSI, but might play about a little bit before this weekend. A nice 4-5 hour motorway journey ahead so I might actually try these suggested tyre pressures! :)

I know your S3 drinks petrol, but the air in the tyres doesn't drop faster than a whore's knickers do they? :biglaugh:

:biglaugh: Nope, thankfully not! :D Would be a bit worried if it did!

I'd also be worried if a whore's knickers fell to a blast of air. Imagine the smell... :1zhelp:

I really need to grow up! :biglaugh:

38 PSI rear and 34 PSI front. Supposedly more grip, less understeer and makes the car feel a bit more alive. Which I have to say would be nice. I have felt the car feel a bit unsettled going round corners. There could definitely be an improvement on that. Better suspension is supposed to help but there's no way I can afford that! :)

I'll try the cheap pressurised air option. It's FREE! :D

Well its free for the moment. :D

Won't be long before the Government charges us for air! :zx11:

True! We'll be buying canisters of clean air because the government think our atmosphere is so polluted due to "global warming" and then we'll be bending over once again. :(

What a world...
