cant get sump off ??

hi everyone

I recently hit the sump on my 52 plate golf diesel and cracked the heck out of it i have purchased a new one ,but I cant bloody the old one off I have took all the bolts out but the thing feels like it is welded on I know when i bought the new one they told me their iwas no gasket just a kind of sealant that needs to be put on but i didnt think it would grip so hard I have hit the **** out of it and tried prying it but it wont budge ,I am missing something ? just to double check does anyone know how many bolts i should have in my hand if i have removed them all ??

Surely you should have the same amount of bolts as there are holes in you new sump.
I would try to cut through the sealant with a stanley knife.

thanks for the reply ,I have tried to cut through with a stanley knife and it broke the blade it is really solid maybe something like chemical metal I dunno. somewhere out there must have done one of these ??
