Hi all, First time in a car related forum. got a mk3 golf n reg (match variant) done some work on her like keyless entry, filled in the rear number plate area to give a better body line and got rid of the door mirrors if favor of rear facings cameras. problem i have now is that the bearing for the output shaft in the gearbox has collapsed and i can't find any information on the bearing that would enable me to buy a replacement or a partlist for the box, any ideas?
I downloaded some data on the different types of gearboxes for the mk3, it would appear the one i have is the 02j as it has the VW on the end casing. Thanks in advance:beerchug:

Looked inside one or two car gearboxes but never ever done anything maintenance/repair wise.

my mistake, the tranny is a 085 and typically there's even less information available on that one than the 02j :zx11:
