Front windscreen wipers wont stop

Hello, could someone help me i have a VW Golf GT TDI 1999, i used the wipers this morning all was working well, but i finished work and was on way home and wipers seemed to start on their own on the stop position, and now i cant stop them unless i take the fuse out, is this a relay problem or is it something else? :1zhelp:

Hi Bec,

Looks like its that time of year again wipers getting big licks......

Most likely a problem with the stalk
