Can anybody tell me what happens when two phones that are paired via bluetooth come into range of the phone prep at the same time?
Is it just which ever phone pairs first gets to talk to the car and the other has to wait?
Or does the first pair then the second kick it off?
Or do they fight for control of the car?

strongest wins but you can have 4 phones paired but only one user in use at a time.If you try to pair more than one at a time you will cause blutooth confusion so pair one at a time and the bt unit will see the user whos in the car from the list of 4

I own 2 phones, a blackberry and a sony. The car recognizes the first phone connected over any other. I've also tried that with many pohnes.
I then tried to approach the car with both phones on and a friend inside the B8 with the ignition on> We realized that every single time the Blackberry got it first due to the better range. However if both were in their ranges when the car was started, the sony was the one that got it. I take that the sony is "faster".

I guess the other thing to do is to set on the phone to NOT accept connection automatically, that way if there are 2 of you, you can select. Bit of a pita though.
