was wondering did VW put the 1.9 pdi td 130 bhp in mk one passat or were they new to the revised mk 2 in 2000, thanks :beerchug:

Welcome to the forum.

the 130bhp tdi is a PD engine and only found in the later revised passat models.

As Rob said.
I think the 130 PD was introduced in mid/late 2001.
Oh, and by the way, that was the MK5 Passat facelift model. The MK1 Passat was introduced in 1973, and they certainly didn't have PD engines then!
