My brake fault light comes on and advises STOP on dashboard. I think the reservoir needs topping up, HOWEVER, while I can see the reservoir under the bonnet I can cannot get to it. Do I have to remover the air cleaner and hose etc.
Please advise

I gave up and took it a local mechanic. I watched what he did for future info. It took about 20 minutes. It is actually a Ford Galaxy TDi 130 bhp but same for Sharan and Alhambra.

Remove air sensor connector
Remove air pipe at airbox
Remove 3 screws holding top of airbox and remove top
Remove Brake / Clutch fluid filler
Fill using a tube / funnel to get into reservoir
Refit Brake / Clutch fluid filler
Refit airbox top and fit screws
Refit air pipe
Refit air sensor connector

Thanks for this info Jeff. I took out the air filter cover before I read this, even removed the air filter box bolt then scratched my head and decided to check on the forum. I thought I might have to remove the second section of the air pipe but the clip for that is pretty inaccessible and that pipe has quite a few other stuff connected to it. I am glad the forum is there to fall back on.
