Whistle on cold start + codes

Hi all!

Golf GTi 150

The last few days when I have started the car from cold there has been a fairly loud whistle coming from under the bonnet (passenger side I think). This goes on for about a minute and then stops.

Anyone got any ideas??

I have been having some issues with the following error codes:
16795 - secondary air injection system, incorrect flow
17705 - Pressure drop between turbo and throttle valve
17536 - Multi fuel adaption bank 1 lean

Could these things be related??

Been in the garage twice already (under warranty) but they keep coming back. Need to make sure it is sorted before I have to pay.

They have changed the MAF sensor and a hose and some valve so far

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like one for crasher mate (or the doctor as he ought to be called)

Sound like a splitting secondary air pump as this only runs for a about a minuite and only on a cold start. They are made of plastic and the seal breaks on them allowing air to escape when it running. If its not the pump itself then I would get the pipes that are connected to and from it checked for leaks.

I fixed my splitting pump buy using zip ties to bring the two parts back together again and so re-sealing it....
