V6 4motion wheels on a 1.4 E Golf

I've just joined the forum as I recently got a 1.4 E 2000 X reg Golf.

I was wondering if anyone has fitted the alloy wheels from a V6 4motion on a 1.4. They are the 16 inch Brands Hatch wheel with 205/55/16 tyres. I got a cheap set of wheels but thought I'd better double check they will go on with no rubbing or anything before going to the hassle of refurbishing and tyres.

They will fit fine on your 1.4 as they are are a standard Golf size wheel and tyre. They will look good I am sure! ;)
