I'm a bit new to my Golf so I've worked out the type 1 and type 2 journeys, all is well. However I read from the manual I get more useful info like. "Driving range".

As I read it, is this "miles you can travel until you run out of fuel"? Because I don't remember it showing up!?!?! Have I mistakenly bought the inferior multi-display model?

Thanks.

MTG, I'm still working on getting my multi function display just to turn on and actually display something. I found some good advice in some other forums on here that i'll be trying tomorrow. I'm curious now as to whether my display will project "range" either?? Did you figure yours out?

Milo,

I have a 2001 Gt Tdi 115bhp, and mine does not have the 'range' function at all. Shame, as I get excellant fuel economy!

Hope this helps

I think mine is the same model as Stevee-_p, not certain yet if it's the 115bhp, but it is six speed. Mine doesn't seem to have the 'range' function either. I've also noticed an issue with mine which is if the radio is not on when the car is turned on it won't display. If you turn the car on with the radio already on it will work.

Is this a 'feature' or a fault?

Jane,

I cant say ive noticed whether mine comes on with the radio or not, ive had the car 2 years, and its never happened that im aware of?!

Sounds more like a fault, but not exactly something id worry about if it were me!

No I'm definately not worried. Just busy getting used to the multi function steering wheel. I keep changing the station instead of turning it up or down!! :o

I cant help you with that one! If you have trouble with the volume, perhaps the mulitfunction display is beyond you....:biglaugh:
