Trivial moan:

If I forget to empty the coins from my pockets when I'm wearing tracksuit bottoms.. the coins fall out of my pockets down the side of the seats.

The coins get lodged under the seat rail and there's so little space between the door sill and the seat that I struggle to get them back!

Does anybody else find the B7 A4 is a nightmare car for loosing things in?

LOL yeah my spare change is kept in the ashtray and if it fills up sometimes the coins get caught under the lid and fall behind the stereo/air con unit. :D

Ha ha ha... yep, suffer the same thing on my B5 - lost enough change that it must have increased the value of the car considerably!
Have also managed to loose a lot of time while working on it!?

Hey,

I used to have that problem with a Mk3 Fiesta I had!!

Did mean that every time I did some work on it all I had to do was remove the lower seat cushion and I'd get most of the cash back!! Think of it like a large movable piggy bank ;)

The next time you clean your car... push the seat back as far as it will go.... then at the front of the seat rail next to the sill, look for a clip at the need of the plastic tirm... remove this clip and pull the trim off...

Makes it so simple when cleaning and getting money back!

Thanks for the hint.. but I don't think the B7 has a plastic trim covering the rails? (or do you mean remove the sill's plastic trim?)
