Hi, im new here

Ian my name and im on the lookout for a new car and ive spotted a very well maintained Audi A4 1.8i (1998) and im looking for some help on what i should look for in the way of known faults or things that could be a problem, any hint and tips would be a great help as none of my friends drive Audi's
