Just wondering what the different coloured GTi badges mean.

Some have red letters and some don't.

Just watch out for the ones with lot's of red letters is all i can say :)

TDI (All Red) is a 150bhp Diesel Engine

TDI (Red D, Red I) is a 130bhp Diesel Engine

TDI (Red I) is either a 115bhp or 110bhp Diesel Engine depending on the Year

TDI (All Silver) is a 90 bhp Diesel Engine

I'm pretty sure you can get early petrol GTi's with a red I, I'm almost certain they were around before the GT TDi's/GTi Diesels came about. Don't know what it signifies though. :confused:
