Hi all, just ordered my new Scirocco today, the long wait now begins! On my test drive I was a bit put off by the position of the handbrake and thought I would go for the electronic parking brake option. I have used this before in the new Audis and found it to be excellent.

Does anyone know how the scirocco central console looks with this option? Is the space where the cable handbrake was just a gaping void or do they use it for storage etc?

Any help would be most appreciated!

Just found this photo of the one in the tiguan. Not sure how this will differ in the 'rocco tho

I have not seen this as an option on the rocco. Are you thinking of the auto hold function? This is standard on the DSG models and an option on the manuals whihc stops the car rolling back on hills as far as i'm aware.
