hi new to this forum and now a proud owner of my first vw,a 2004 passat 130 tdi highline estate.the information im after regards the towbar electrics,im thinking of retro-fitting a towbar kit with a car specific wiring.ive been told that once fitted the ecu can then be reprogrammed with certain codes to activate tsp. some towbar fitting companys have said that this was not available until the new model 05 on.does anyone out there know any different as these features would benefit my caravan towing.
