I'm looking at a 2003+ Ibiza 1.4 for when I pass. Anything to look out for? What are they like in general? etc.

Thanks,
Luke.

I bought a 1.2 new in 2003. Regular service + 1 ignition coil in 5 years, swapped it this year for the 1.4 stylance .It`s brilliant, they are not super fast cars by any means, you need a cupra for that but they are realy nice cars to drive and they handle realy well.Good luck.:approve:

Front wishbone rear mountings known as consul bushes, a very common failure but easy to do with the right tools. Huge issues with heating system air flap motors that are a big job to change and some minor problems with the central electrics unit.

Great little cars but they are quite slow.

Really? I thought the 1.4 16V was quite nippy?
