Stereo removal keys

I am trying to fit the xcarlink ipod adaptor and have the Symphony so only have 2 keys but need 4 to remove the stereo. I went to Halfords and they said they don't sell the Audi keys for security reasons and to try eBay. Thing is, I wanted to get it sorted this weekend. I did see in Halfords keys that were labelled 'Generic European Stereo Tool' and they looked just like these

which differed to what was provided by xcarlink. I know a lot of people have suggested Halfords for the keys, so would these generic european ones work?

They may or may not work? Will they refund you if they do not??

With my original Concert II single DIN radio and before I had the proper keys, I used two ~5mm wide cable ties - simply cut the pointed flexible tips off the tie feed end, and then push the semi-rigid nylon into the key slots - this released the catches. Had the head unit out many times without any hassle this way!

This does not help you this weekend but I purchased the following keys - I think this seller has changed his ID since I bought them, but the listing picture is identical -

I really appreciate the offer but I ordered some off ebay in the meantime. I did manage to borrow some off the guy at Halfords but it didn't want to come out :(

I purchased some from halfords for around £2.99 for my A4..

You need to buy the "EUROPEAN" ones they sell..
