Hello

I've installed an aftermarket head unit in my car and it had been working perfectly well for about 4 months then one day got in the car and it would not power on.

I've checked the fuse at the back and connected the previous aftermarket head unit i had and still same problem.

I've not had a chance to go out and buy a cheap multimeter yet to prove there is an issue with the power supply therefore any suggestions would be much appreciated in trying to help me resolve this problem please.

Thanks

Did you try the fuse for the headunit in the fuse box?

Thanks for your response Chris. Any chance you can tell me which fuse its is, i assume is the fuse box at the side of the dashobaord on drivers side?

Thanks again

I'll have to check and get back to you, although possibly someone else out there already knows the answer who could tell us.

Thanks to Chris and Kenney http://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/showthread.php?t=19721&highlight=head+unit+fuse

It was number 10 in the fuse box which is one of many labelled as Engine Electronics.

Thanks again guys
