Do they give a blue or a white affect and how much would they roughly cost?

Depends which bulbs you choose and where you buy them from. Google will show you the way!

All those 'xenon' bulbs are utter balls, i have run several different types and they all sucked, if you want to stick with halogens then get decent performing ones, don't go for colour because you will suffer when you need your lights other than posing:p. My favorites for h4 were the Phillips pro visions, and for my new lights which take h7, i bum the Osram Silverstars-they rock but are quite expensive! If you want the xenon effect...buy an HID kit :p 40 quid picks you one up from Hong Kong on ebay, they work fine and are seemingly no different to the ones the shops sell over here, I've been running one for 4 months and my mate has been running two (dips and high beam) for a year now, all working fine:Blush:

h4 provision vs h7 6000k HID (supposed to run 4300k but i wanted to be cool)

I really recommend running HIDs in projector lenses, anything else and they are just horrible for other road users
