B7 S-Line Avant or B8 SE

Hi, I am thinking of moving from VW to Audi and getting a A4 SE saloon new model(B8) 143 TDi or a A4 Avant S-Line 140 Tdi previous model(B7) The Avant has Sat Nav plus and a few other goodies. The Avant has 1000miles the SE has 3000miles. What do people think the best choice would be Cheers

Drive both and see which one you prefer.
Some people think the S-line suspension is a bit hard.

If you can wait I would go for a B8 Avant SE or S-line. You will get more tech stuff than the B7, like the MMI system.

Saying that though the B7 is a great car- I'm on my second one :D

I think the B7 is a great car but after driving a B8 I instantly had the calculator out working out figures i was hooked. Only prob i find with your dilemma is I would pay that bit extra and get B8 S Line no question I think the SE Just lacks something ( IMO ).

B6 was the best b7 good b8 outstanding and the sline avant is a real looker.Avoid the 170 pd diesel in the b7 and try to avoid the dpf filter.The new common rail b8 engine has no issues with the dpf where as the pd unit suffers from dpf issues and clutch failure.
