Hi. Another newbie. I have a blackberry corrado vr6 (that was supercharged until a few months ago). My hubby has a black mk3 golf estate vr6 that he built himself.

no. I sold it due to various reasons really. My corrados engine was dieing - rebuilt the head, did the chains, tensioners and pads twice, took it apart 3 times then finally figured out it was the bottom end so I sold the charger as I didnt see the point of having it on a buggered engine. Bought my hubby his estate back off the guy we sold it to and got myself a 49k 12v engine :) (after buying a 24v for it then changed my mind when I found that 12v).

cat d and the guy i got it off was in the middle of breaking it. I have been rebuilding it ever since. Got the charger a couple of years ago and sold it a few months ago.

not really. I have had a play with a DB7, RX8, and have had a bit of fun with some bikes...mainly 600s :)

I just remember embarrassing myself trying to take on a TVR Tamora. I think I had him over the first metre, with the TDIs torque ! :D

But I did beat a Z3 the other day, and in typical Beamer style he had his fog lights on all the way through. Turn them off and he could have gone slightly quicker !

Go for it! Depends what charger's on it really. I dont like the vortechs. Mine was a stage 2 z-engineering charger. Has its own oil supply so doesnt need a feed off the sump. The ebaring is also universal - all unlike the vortech. Oh and more power for less money :biglaugh:
