Hello all...
I'm new here... I've got a 1998 Audi A4 Avant with the V6 TDI 2.5 engine (one of a few in the USA) . The car runs fine, but I'm experiencing a leak on the injector return lines on injector #1. Wanted to ask the forum for help...
It's very odd since it appears to be coming from the banjo fitting where the return line comes off. Here's the setup...

I took it all apart and it appears that the sealing surface under the copper washer on the injector side is irregular.
There seems to be a slight "step" in the injector body and the washer can't seal 100%. Don't think the injector body is cracked...that'd be a bigger prob. Tried replacing the washers, no dice...
Anyone seen this before? Makes a terrible mess dribbling on the valve cover and down the side of the engine not to mention letting air in probably.
