Hi all,
Just got my MOT report back and had an Advisory Notice all steering and suspension bushes starting to deteriorate, Is it worth getting this fixed ASAP ? And is it a costly process.

Im from Manchester, 2 mins from the Airport.
No noises at all , the only noise I am having is from the Duff passenger side wheel bearing which is being done on thursday. I am starting to suspect that the MOT station where I went my be a little too strict.....

Surely to god Audi aren't building the B6 with faulty suspension arms.. what a joke that would be. Like RickT has said, get a second opinion. When my B5 had problems I could here a clonking noise, it was the c clamp and a lower arm. I ended up paying £600. I wouldn't expect to have to replace all those arms on a Vauxhall never mind an Audi!

Panic over,
I was in the garage with my mechaninc friend last night, I had my front bearings changed , Whilst the car was on the ramp we inspected all bushes etc, And yes there was some slight deterioration on all of the bushes, My friend advised that alot of garages now will point out the minor things on MOT,s as an **** covering exercise.
All bushes were fine and solid but slightly discoloured which he said is normal.
