Bluetooth connecting to radio problem

Well it seems all my problems are happening at once. My passat came back from having its oil cooler changed and the radio wouldnt work. I noticed that the phone was permanently connected to the radio and the FF nokia bluetooth control was pulsing very quickly.

I took the car back but the independant dealer said it must have been like that as he hasnt been anywhere near the radio etc. The only way to disconnect the phone from the radio was to take the cable off the battery therefore not having a phone kit in the car.

Has anyone had this problem and know how to get the kit working again?
