A4, Seat upgrade help

Hello, i am looking into changing the seats in my a4, however im unsure as to what i can fit. I'm going to safely assume that anything from the a4 b5 will fit, however anything with audi written on it also carries a large pricetag, seems as though most leather interiors make a good 500quid onwards...ouch!

Can i fit much else? i know subframes differ but say if i found some nice leather front seats from another vag car, can i replace the subframes and just drop them in? i know the rears will be a pain, but that doesnt fuss me right now.

b5 a4 seats only unless your handy with welding gear, if your cars a 96 probably not got side airbags so a bit less hassle
also saloon rears arent a straight swap for avants or quattro saloon rears

managed to fit passat 1/2 leather / alcantara interior into my tqs saloon but was a nightmare!

Ahh balls, so expensive interior or get the seats recovered are my only choices without epic hassle! not to worry :(
