Hello, I am sure many of you out there have done this, I am just wondering if anybody can supply me with the know how to do it myself.
I am a newbie to car modding, but have a nice golf gti turbo, with full leather etc etc which i would like to add anniversary wheels and body kit to.
I have purchased the kit, it just needs spraying and fitting.
How do i fit it?!

Thanks for your help in advance!

When you get the kit painted, try to get a bodyshop that uses Spies Hecker paint for an accurate and correct colour match

I had some spray work done using Dupont paint, it was a mile out! (LB5N Indigo Blue), I managed to get it redone with Spies Hecker (Sorry, my full stop button aint working!) Spies Hecker supply VWs paint to the factory

Thanks for the advice. I have a black gti turbo (black magic) and have a mate who is spraying it for me. He already has the correct paint, and has done some work for me before so i know its accurate.

I just need help actually fitting it as i will be doing this myself, and the kit came with a bag of screws to attach it?! This doesnt seem strong enough to me, however it came with no instructions so I dont know.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Any luck with fitting this? I thinking about getting the front valance for mine, for starters, but want to be sure about fitting it first. I've heard it can just clip on, use bonding, or screws. Be interested to know how you get on.

Also can anyone suggest a good sprayer in West Midlands area, I would attempt it myself, but tried before on previous car, spent £30 on paint/primer, sprayed and laqued it only for it to be a shade too light and had to get in done again!

Cheers

Apparently you just use the existing clips from the black trim that you remove, place these every 3 inches and a screw each end, job done.
Let me know how you get on.

Could you tell me where you got your's from, and how much you paid if you don't mind :beerchug:

I bought mine from ebay, it came from Poland and cost me 149.99 with 30.00 delivery. Although i havent fitted it yet. I am not sure about doing it myself as i am not keen on messing it up. Someone told me that these replica ones dont quite fit correctly because they dont have the right mouldings on to screw into the car, so apparently you need to buy or fabricate a bracket yourself to screw the mibble of the side skirts to the car.
Other than that the front and rear clip oni think.
