TDI Exhaust Tailpipes???

Hi all, has anyone attempted to change the turned down tail pipes on an A4 2.0 tdi170 S Line Special Edition, I'm after a set of chrome or black chrome tips???
By the way does anyone know if the A4 2.0 tdi170 S Line Special Edition came with the black chrome tailpipes like the petrol version, or have I been mugged off!!???

it's my understanding that all the diesels use the turned down pipes.
i believe it was to underline the "clean" image?

I have the petrol special edition and the black tail pipe pieces are just bolt ons, so I suppose the TDI version will just be normal pipes if down turned. They will just go black any way from the diesel soot :D

I thought the 170 TDi had the twin pipes, one either side that were staight out like the petrol versions??

And does the 170 not have the DPF, meaning they shouldn't go black ;)

The 170 does have the DPF and you don't get the big puff of soot when you boot it!
I have seen a few tdi's with the straight through tail pipes which makes me ask whether the tdi170 should've came with the straight tailpipes instead of the down turned ones.
Anyone know if that's correct!?

Here are two pictures of the latest A4 Avant B7 special editions

The black one is the 2.0T 220ps petrol and the grey one is the 2.0TDI 170ps diesel.

As you can see both have twin tail pipes but the petrol has a larger bore and is straight where as the diesel pipes are slightly downturned.
