Hi all,

A few weeks ago I got my Vogtland Junior Suspension kit fitted to my 05 Bora TDI highline. I purchased the Vogtland kit by following a recommendation by Crasher, rather than going for the Sports kit i opted for the Junior kit, its not a brilliant name "Junior" but it uses the same springs as the sports kit but features softer dampers.
To complement the suspension change i went for some 17" RS4 alloys with Falken Tyres. I had the kit installed at Crashers place as i wanted to be sure of a good quality fitment with correct tracking etc.

Results:
Having seen the car in the flesh both before and after i beleive there is a big differnece in looks. I was told that at the time of fitment the kit had achieved a 30mm drop, though i beleive this may have increased towards 35mm now its all settled down.
Handling wise i can now corner with confidence, low speed ride is obviously harsher but high speed ride is still very good so no problems with motorway cruising.
All in all i think its a decent purchase and a good balance between Ride and performance. Thanks to Crasher for recommendations and installation.

P.S Does anyone know how to get larger pictures posted? The attachment option seems to shrink them down?

HI, thanks will have to try photobucket or something.

With regards to cost;

Suspension Kit - including Springs, Dampers, Shortened GTI bumo stops and two new Top mount bearings came to approx £270 including delivery.

Wheels and tyres (Brand new) - got them down to £469, they are replicas so are probably a bit heavier than real RS4's but on a car like this i doubt it makes a massive difference. This came with new Falken Tyres.

Fitment - I went with Crasher (C & R enterprises) simply because i purchased the kit from them and they knew what they were talking about, I was originally quoted 4 hours labour with a few bits and peices this came to approx £235, the actual fitment went over by about an hour or so but the price remained the same.

So all in all i probably set me back around £900 not cheap... but i plan to keep the car for a good 2 years at least.
