Has anyone ever arranged for a courier to deliver a gearbox or engine?

any recommendations for good companies to use that arent gonna charge a fortune!

you'll probably have to secure it to a pallet and get DHL or similar to take it, won't be cheap though

I used to send out 205 GTI gearboxes via courier (until last year).

The transverse boxes weighed around 38kg, and cost approx £25 for a next day service.

I used to bag them, and wrap them in bubblewrap, then secure them in large heavy duty plastic tubs.

There are many low priced couriers out there, but they seem to come and go fairly quickly.

A full sized box may cost around £40 - £50 to send.
