Ground Clearance.......

Does anybody have ground clearance issues with their 2.8E Coupe Quattros?
Not sure if mine has been lowered in the past but the left hand cat bottoms out even on smallish speed humps, I'm afraid is gonna cause some serious damage. :eek:

you sure it's not an aftermarket cat thats' on there?
i have read that some makes can catch at various places.

Not sure mate, only got the car last weekend, got it booked in at the garage in the morning for them to have a look as it seems to be blowing a bit from somewhere as well, see if there's any way of lifting it a little?

The original cat on my 2.6 coupe was a bugger for catching, but the car was lowered. Since full after-market exhaust inc. cat was done, the cat protrudes much less & it's quite a bit bigger!
I presume the 2.6 & 2.8 will have the same exhaust setup, so I think it's just the way they are!
