Hi folks, heres my problem,
when at low speed 30 mph ish everything seems to be normal with my climatronic system ie fan works cold or hot air delivered as advertised auto or econ mode.
Moving up the speed scale (40 plus) the system then starts to cycle up and down (fan) and with the radio off you can here the fan changing speed but increase in fan speed not shown on the control panel. Again the temperature selected does not change but i have noticed that if i select 18c then the cycling does seem to get worse.
The system does run cold when requested so it would appear not to require servicing.
I have had a quick look at the temp sensors on the control panel and they appear clean and unblocked unless one or both are duff but when in auto the system changes temp as required.
The car is a 53 plate 130 TDI Sport with 60k on the clock and otherwise is spot on just this cycling of the system. My other sport had 136k on the clock and never had the air con serviced and worked like clockwork so any ideas would be gratefully appreciated. The car still has warranty left on it but i would like a second opinion before i take it back to the ***********. :1zhelp:
