2008 A4 Oil Filter Location

Please Help.

I have a 2008 Audi A4 2.0 and I would like to change my own oil rather than take it 35 miles to the nearest dealer. My problem is I can't locate the oil filter. I believe it to be a canister type filter but it seems to be hiding.
Does anyone know the location of the filter?

Thank you so much, this is awesome article.

The manual reccomends 5w-30 synthentic but doesnt specify a brand. However Audi stamped the Castrol logo on the oil filler cap. That is what I was going to use unless I hear otherwise.
