No Radiator cap

as the title suggests im missing my radiator cap . . agreed i only noticed when i was filling up my screen wash n checkin oil levels, but now ive noticed im scared to even start up tbh, so yeh my question is will it be safe to make it to pick up a new one without the likelyhood of any bad happenings?
realise this may be the ramblings of an overcautious mug , but asi always say better safe than sorry...
hopin the breakers will have a replacement arm rest button while im at it and maybe even another few bits and bobs if im lucky

just my style the titles suggested wrong!
im an **** and was talking to a mate witha missing rad cap ( proof recent conversation can sit in the subconcious) - I however had lost my oil cap , luckily made it the addional 10 miles or so out to the breakers where i picked a replacement up ( inside of the hood suffered a bit of a jackson pollok look) but apart from that also got rub strips for the back and front aswell as the armrest button , seems every side strip was stuck back but hadnt even been colour coded i wonder why you'd remove them then.. anyway 15quid all in not bad considerg fleabay are after a tenner just for the armrest clip -
now just to get to colour coding- wish me luck
