Hissing noise

Hi all,i`ve got a 2004 Passat highline estate tdi and i`ve started to get hissing noise from under the passenger side dashboard area when i switch the car off,lifted the bonnet to have a listen thinking it could be the servo but its other side behind the battery area,any ideas ??????????

I would think it is just the excess pressure in the A/C system going through the orfice tube. Try running the car again with the air con switched off, see what happens when turning the engine off then.

If that solve the hissing noise then don't worry about it. It's necessary for the A/C to work correctly.
