Air bag warning light on

My air bag warning light has come on, I had a squeeking noise coming from my steering wheel and sprayed some lubricant behind the wheel it must have gone onto some contacts I think. I am going to buy a fault code resetter can any one reccommend a good cheap one. Thanks

Hiya mate, Get yourself a CAN VW/AUDI code reader vag305 from www.auteltech.com (http://www.auteltech.com), It worked a treat for me.:approve: Think it was only arond £40.

I bought it because my airbag light came on and it cleared it and it didn't come back.

Just wondering, did you order the VAG305 from them direct, or from a uk dealership? And what was the delivery time?

I bought it from a uk dealership, Can't remember the life of me who, I'm pretty sure it took two days to arrive. Sorry i'm not much help, If your close enough you could borrow mine, Where abouts are you?

No worries dude, Hope it helps, It certainly helped me out for only £40:D, vw wanted £90 just to look at it, Then god only knows how much to reset it:aargh4:.
