i have recently bought an audi a4 2000 when we lock our car with the remote lock the alarm goes off and when we unlock the car to stop the alarm the car locks itself and the alarm will go off again :1zhelp:

how quickly does the alarm go off when you unlock it?

there is an auto lock feature that will re-lock the car (and arm the alarm) if it is unlocked but no doors/tailgate are opened.

you need to get a code read to find out what is triggering the alarm to go off in the first place...

if it is really driving you nuts in the mean time you can disconnect the siren in the boot. the indicators will keep flashing but you wont wake the neighbours!

Iv heard its very often the bonnet sensor that sets the alarm off, they corrode inside and just trigger the alarmy whenever they feel like it
