I just bought some of the above and have been wondering how to fit them? Do I need to get the "old rubber ones"off first? If yes, whats the best way? They are solid almost.

Otherwise the new ones will look silly over the top of the old ones? I dont want to cut the old ones off then find out I shouldnt of done it......

Any suggestions?:aargh4:

Aren't said items illegal?

You should be able to slide the rubbers off fairly easily then you usually need to drill the peddle and the new one to match and bolt or preferably rivvet in place

As long as they are secure, mounted properly (think you need a certain amount of space between each pedal) and have 'rubber' bits on the pedals to stop your feet slipping then they will be fine.

I had a car fitted with them once and they were awful, personally I wouldn't bother.
