Engine Oil for TDi

Hi Guys

Just a quick question which may have already been asked but cant seem to locate on a search - so apologies in advance.

I have a 1.9 TDi A4. Just performed an service oil but think i may have used the wrong type of oil and am a little concerned of what may happen.

Previously i used 10w 40 Semi Synthetic however a local Big W had a 15w 40 Mineral Turbo Deisel oil so i grabbed it!

My question is, should i be worried and change the oil pronto or will i just notice a decrease in performance?

I use fuchs titan supersynth in my tdi available from gsf for about £20.
If you go to opie oils website use their online search to find the correct spec for your car

The oil should confirm to vw 500 00 or vw505 00 spec.

The better the quality the better protection
