New head unit-Problems?

Hello all :) I want to replace my Chorus head unit on my 2001 A4 with a Navi 400i satnav.
But I cant seem to get it working I have tried to instal it with a PC9-401 wiring harness and a PC5-52 antenna adapter and I have followed the instructions here :-http://www.nexxia.co.uk/Installation_Advice/Audi_Harness_adaptors.htm But still no joy :1zhelp: not a kick, it wont even power up.
Any ideas?

Have you checked the fuse both in the car and in the stero

Hi Richie, thanks for the reply it seems that I will have to join Pin 4 - (permanent +12v input to the radio from the battery) and Pin 7 - (ignition - +12v input to the radio when the ignition is on) in the Black iso block.

Ive fitted the satnav by joining pins 4 and 7 and everthing seems to be working fine ( have to remember to switch it off before I get out of the car :) ). But now I have another problem the previous owner fitted a parking sensor which worked fine until I fitted the new satnav now it doesn't work.
Anyone know how to fix it?

You say you have joined pin 4 and pin 7, you may have been better swapping over pin 4 and pin 7.

how do I swap them over ? would this fix the parking sensor ?
