Audi A4 DVD Sat Nav sound mute on start.

How can I make the car shut up on start up?

Sometimes I will turn the volume down when parking. When I restart the car the volume jumps back up again.

There must be a simple fix surely??

look in menu or book u can set turn on volume

Looked in both. I see no option like this.

Just go into the Nav settings and switch off the voice guidance. :D

That doesn't work either.

I currently have to select CD prior to stopping to ensue I have no sound on start up.

I will keep trying every option but the lack of this simple function is frustrating the life out of me.
