Tdi Engine cover question

Hello - I have a cracked engine cover on top of my 1.9Tdi Mk5 Golf motor (dropped the battery on it - aaargh).

I don't fancy an expensive trip to the dealer and I wondered if any TDi (mk4 Golf, Seat Leon etc) cover would fit just as well as long as it's from a VW group 1.9 Tdi...

(This is the big plastic cover that fits over the rocker cover/oil filer neck/dipstick with a VW badge etc).

Any ideas?

best bet is to look on ebay, find someone who is 'breaking' a golf, and get one off them.

I'd price it from the dealer mate as you may get a surprise,I did a similar thing with my last Passat tdi's cover and it was about 50 quid new..Lots bigger than the Mk5 Golf one with some shiney gloss plastic as well so I think the Mk5 one will be pretty cheap.
