Black Oil

Hi,

we have a 2002 TDi 130 PD; bought it last month, and the dealer said that it had a full service including oil change before we collected it.

The oil is black, is this normal, or is it possible it wasn't actually changed and just topped up?:confused:

I am aware you need to be extra careful with regard to oil in this model (PD engine)

Please help!

Oil will go black within a few miles of an oil change.

Its booked in for new cam belt & water pump this week, and I was going to get them to check the oil as well; but now no need!

Why does it go black so quickly?
