hi ya guys just fitted my recerculation flap but i am having problems
when its working i can see the leaver operating fine opening and closing the receulation falp but when i
put the air on high the recerculation leaver stops working
i then have to take the blower out and the flap which is below i have to push down
and then start it again at low speen and it works
but only on low speed
any ideas
can some one also tell me what the lower flap is used for

IIRC you need to reset the flap once fitted. Using a VAG COM is your best bet.

Flap Motor Reset
08 Heater/A.C
04 Basic settings
Channel 000 (30 Secs)
001 (30 Secs)
002 (30 Secs)

alright guys tryed to reset the flap but i got a problem
when you put the first block code in
000
you can hear the flaps moving
but the other 2
001 and 002
you cant hear anything
any ideas:confused:
now when i entered the first block code as the flaps moved and the others 2 times when i entered 001 and002 they didnt
is ther any chance i would have made things worse as i didnt complete the reset of the flap
or wouldnt it of made any differance:confused:

Sometimes when I've reset mine, the flaps don't always move. and if I do it twice, it dosent move all the flaps 2nd time round.
