View Full Version : GTI Or GT Multifunction Wheel
VW have messed my order of my GT sport 170 TDI and missed the leather Multifunction wheel off the order. I have the Highline Computer but not the Wheel.
I was wondering if anyone know where I can get one from either a GTI leather multifunction wheel or a GT Multifunction Wheel and if any body knows where I can get them fitted as im not very good with DIY on cars.
I live in the north west of England.
Also ive looked on eBay but cant find a multifunction wheel, Also Im looking for a golf GTI Mrk 5 gear knob as it looks better then the GT one.
Thanks
Anthony

Ebay is still your best chance mate as I picked up an R32 MFSW and it cost me £150,dealer is way too expensive.
If VW messed up your order then you can get them to rectify the error, as they're in the wrong not supplying you with the specs you ordered.
I would think this is your basic right as a customer.

vw missed the centre armrest with ipod preperation off my order, which once i told them, they ordered the parts in, 1 week later it was all fitted,
so dont buy it off ebay, if it clearly states on the order form the multifunction wheel, they should supply and fit it at no cost to you,
personally if they hadn't agree to this, you shouldn't of drove the car away,

Hi caudy,
tried to find your link for the MFSW. must be blind
How much do you want for it? and will all the Multi function stuff work fine with the golf 2.0tdi mk5?

ive just checked and your not blind... the thread has gone
no idea why but its no longer with us?!
the wheel is from my gt sport 170 tsi. cant quite remember how much its been used but i no its dont less than 3k from new and to be honest theres not a mark or scratch on it what so ever.
as for it fitting from everything ive been told and read the answer is yes.
sometimes it needs some kind of coding to let the car know that it can do it but the new one i put on (R32 wheel) did'nt need that so it cost my the grand total of £35 fitted :D
Im looking for arond £260 due to it being completly mint but im sure we can sort somthing out.
ive got the pics anyway. any questions feel free to ask mate.
take care
i'm watching this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250253348116&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=015

Also, you will require a control unit that the MFSW plugs in to.
As caudy already had a MFSW he would of already had the correct control unit fitted (underside of steering column) and the cars pc correctly setup. so just a case of a swap over.
There is a how to guide that shows you all you need to know, once you have the parts.
