Its been a while but i'm back with another problem :zx11::zx11::zx11:
When accelerating harder from 2-3000 there seems to be a slight wooshing noise, never been there before. Is this signs of the turbo dying or an exhaust problem? And no it doesn't have a dump valve!
Anybody experienced this before :1zhelp:

I would say its normal, its your turbo spooling up.
You do have a Diverter Valve, its just thats its an OEM one.
Only thing that could make it more noticable is that the Diverter Valve has failed which is a very common fault. A fault scan might show up a problem, if any.

Just strange i've never noticed it before that was all, I'll see if I can find someone local with a scanner and see what shows up.
thanks for the response

If it's only just started maybe you have a loose clamp or a split hose and have developed a bit of a boost leak?

Bit of an old thread to dig up mate. I would repost in the Audi A4 section and see if you get any joy there...
