i recently bought a golf 1.8t gti 2000 (150bhp) and i really want a dumpvalve what would be the best make for this car and how much should i pay?

i went to pro-tech garage and they said you cant put dumpvalves on these cars becuase the turbo is running at a too low pressure?

is he just chatting balls:biglaugh:?

He is talking rubbish. They do run a lowish pressure but they have a dumpvalve as standard anyway. It is just a closed system which is why it's quiet.

If you want to upgrade the original recirculating diverter valve (I refuse to use the chav expression), fit an APR R1, it is quieter than standard so no gold chain and white shell suit are required.

i would go for a forge 007 dv you get a nice sound off the 007 with an induction kit:biglaugh:

The bloke at the garage was right, you cant fit a dump valve.

I have a forge 007 and the sound it lovely with the CAI.
