RNS-E SD Card Playlist Random Change

Hi All - I looked, but couldn't see this question has been asked before.

Normally speaking everything is working absolutely fine and the RNS-E plays the playlists with no problems at all whilst I am in the car.

However, when I return to the car and turn on the RNS-E it plays the existing song for a few seconds (or sometimes plays the rest of the current track) and then randomly jumps to a song in the first playlist (always the first playlist but not the first song in the playlist).

Very annoying as I have long playlists so I have to select the right playlist then scroll all the way through to carry on from where it was currenty playing.

Tried all the usual reformatting the cards etc but it hasn't cured the issue.

Anyone had a similar issue or understand how the system can randomly go and chose it's own song from the first playlist?

Some RNS-E's do that sometimes. You could try updating your software to the latest version (0650) if you arent already running that version?

Thanks - any idea how I check & update the software? I'm guessing it's not covered in the manual.

Have only just bought the RNS-E so would hope it's pretty current.

Press CAR then select the option. You will have a4 digit number for the SW version. 0550, 0600, 0650 etc etc. 0650 is the most upto date. No guarantee this will fix your issue though!

Did that and I'm running the latest 0650 version.
