power loss problem help!!

ive just bought a 1.8t gti 150bhp and ive noticed when i put my foot down it judders even sometimes when the turbo has kicked in, it's as if it has a little power loss and struggles for a second and then finds the power again somehow.

basicly it doesnt have an even flow of acceleration. what could this be?

i would say the MAF sensor
unfortunately there's no way of testing them without VAG COM and usually they don't throw up any fault codes anyway
they're about £65 from the dealer - don't bother with the cheap ones on ebay
